About the Authors
Jan Morgan Ison
Jan Morgan Ison is a native Hoosier and graduate of Ball State University. She is a farm girl from Albion, Indiana, and the youngest of five incredible siblings. Almost 20 years ago her lifelong ambition was to move back to the farm. This time it was a gentleman’s estate complete with white board fenced pastures, her retired thoroughbreds, talking donkey, Cyrus, and loyal pups.
Jan has built a career from her passion for life and storytelling. She has become a respected producer and writer in her 36-year studio tenure. This faith forward believer of vision boards and entertaining escapism, is currently writing a romantic fictional novel based upon a true story of the largest private residence in the state of Tennessee called “Rags To Riches and All His Bitches.”
Nathan R. Wheeler
Nathan R. Wheeler was born and raised in the small town of Wheelersburg, Ohio, where he grew up as the oldest and coolest of four siblings…no matter what they say.
From a young age, he found himself captivated by movies—watching them, quoting them, and eventually writing stories of his own. That love of storytelling led him to screenwriting, where he crafted The Callback, a screenplay that has now become his debut novel (with the help of fellow writer Jan Morgan Ison). With this first book, Nathan is excited to share his passion for blending cinematic imagination with the written word, bringing characters and stories to life in a whole new way.
